Teacher Ivy

Ivy earned her Bachelor of Science with a Major in Special Education from St. Scholastica’s College in Manila. Since 2007, she has been teaching students with special needs from age 3 to 23 with different disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Mental Retardation, and behavioural problems.

Having had extensive experience as a special education teacher across both mainstream and special needs programs, Ivy processes creativity and resourcefulness that are evident in the way that she interacts with children. She desires to help them to achieve their highest potential in a conducive environment, by guiding them and instilling in them a passion for continuous learning.

Ivy believes that building relationships with children begin by developing trust and respect. She also enjoys the challenge of reaching out to them and creating a positive impact on their lives. In her spare time, Ivy loves to read, swim, cycle and watching movies.
