Teacher Kara

Kara has a Diploma in Electrical, Computer & Communications Engineering and has had in-house training with James W. Partington, Ph.D., BCBA-D Director, Behavior Analysts, Inc. in Applied Behavioural Analysis.

She has 3 years of experience as Special Educator and has been teaching children from various age groups under 12 years. Her scope of work includes Autism, ADHD, Behavioural Difficulty and Intellectual Disability. Together with being a Special Educator, Kara was a Behavioural Therapist for 2+ years conducting 1-1 sessions with children and adults. Kara also went into researching with a local university whereby she did projects with regards to special needs, specifically, Autism.

Kara strongly believes each child is unique and building relationships with children begin by developing trust and respect. She is passionate about treating children with respect and making them feel comfortable.

Kara enjoys sports, arts, backpacking to different countries and being an advocate for Autism.
