Teacher MC (Maria)

MC holds a Master in Education with a Major in Special Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Psychology. She is also CPR certified and was ranked 11th in the 2012 nationwide Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) in the Philippines.

She has handled special needs children from ages 4 to 13 with behaviour management, communication and language development, basic skills building, and functional learning. She has had experience with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, Global Delay, and learning disabilities. For older children, she has two years of experience in Early Intervention as well as Individualised Transition.

MC believes that children are uniquely different and are capable of learning in any circumstances possible. This philosophy has guided her in teaching all kinds of children with various learning challenges to show them that given the right tools, learning is not a limited process.

MC loves being with children and is passionate about helping them to achieve their fullest potential. In her spare time, she plays sports and musical instruments.
