Rizal is heading the Dynamics Early Intervention Program (EIP) and is also an Educational Therapist with Edunamics. He has years of experience working with mainstream schools and was formerly a Deputy Head of School in an inclusive international school. His knowledge and experience of working in the schools will add value to our EIP and ensure that all our EIP students get the best preparation, development and skills possible to succeed in our programme and their schools.
Rizal have experience working with children of different background and varying needs. He has worked with children with traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum, ADD/ADHD, global developmental delay, anxiety disorder, mild intellectual impairment, physical impairment and specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia. When working with his students individually, he strives to ensure that the skills/behaviour learnt are able to be transcended to a small group/class setting and daily living as well. Rizal has taught kids from 2-year olds to 13-year olds in various subjects such as Literacy and Numeracy.
Rizal likes to create a multi-sensorial experience for a child’s learning journey. A firm believer of the multiple intelligences approach, he believes that the students will learn best in the way that they are most comfortable and natural with. Through exploring the possibilities, inquiring the mechanics and applying the skills, information can be generated to be knowledge that a child possess. Rizal loves working with children and believes that learning takes place every day for everyone, be it explicitly or implicitly.
