Our Team - Amelia Tay

Amelia holds a diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Nanyang PolyTech but shortly thereafter realised that her interests lie elsewhere. She tried out healthcare as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist for a year and a half, knowing that she loved sciences, but quickly realised that the science of language was her true passion. Speech Therapy became her goal.

Amelia volunteered as an intern at Dynamics Early Intervention Program, helping children who were non-verbal, relying on visual aids and technology to convert their ideas into messages. We quickly realised that Amelia’s passion and dedication were an excellent fit and she has since joined us as an Early Interventionist.

Amelia believes that all children, no matter their learning ability, should be given the tools to communicate, grow and accomplish daily activities with as few obstacles as possible. She finds daily motivation in this belief. Amelia plans to study Speech Pathology at SIT in August 2023 .
