Our Team - Maria Corazon Cua Paz
MC is our principal Special Education Teacher at Dynamics Early Intervention Program where she has worked since 2015. She has been in the education field for more than 10 years and has extensive experience in a variety of settings including Preschools, Mainstream International Schools, ITP/Vocational Centres, Early Intervention Centres and Specialized Behaviour Therapy Centres.
She is happy to be an educator at Dynamics where she can further work in special education supporting children with disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Dyslexia and prominent developmental delays.
MC has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from De La Salle University, a Master’s degree in Education with a major in Special Education from Miriam College. She was certified by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) as an Autism Specialist and has received training on Applied Behaviour Analysis Training (ABA) in Dubai, UAE. In addition to MC’s education training, she has also acquired 36 units in Nursing at Arellano University under the International Nursing Program. She is trained in Basic and Advanced CPR by the American Heart Association as well as certified by Singapore Emergency Responder Academy (SERA) in Child and Infant First Aid and CPR.
MC believes that all children are capable of learning given the right tools. She uses specialized techniques to develop group and class readiness skills with a focus on the development of communication and social skills. MC holds a leadership role at Dynamics, mentoring new staff and guiding them to follow EIP protocols, as well as helping to maintain high teaching standards and professionalism for all staff.
